Welcome

Frontier Academy was established in June, 2010 as a co-educational, non-denominational, independent day school for students in grades 3 through 8 with learning differences/disabilities. The school is scheduled to open its first pilot program in September, 2010 on the campus of the Carroll School in Lincoln, MA.

Frontier Academy offers the Arrowsmith Program®, developed by the Arrowsmith School. The Arrowsmith Program is an internationally recognized special education program that builds on recent advances in brain science to successfully treat a wide range of learning disabilities through rigorous cognitive training. These disabilities affect reading, writing, math, planning, attention, memory, and the acquisition of social skills. The Arrowsmith Program identifies and strengthens the weaker cognitive capacities that underlie learning disabilities.  Through intensive cognitive exercises, students are able to increase their learning capacities and eventually reenter mainstream classrooms as independent, confident learners.   To read more about the Arrowsmith Program at FA, click here.
